🧠 Mental Health Matters – Let’s Support Each Other 💚 A more serious post:

I’ve seen a few posts today from people struggling with their mental health, and it’s a reminder that behind every account here is a real person going through real things.

I’m a certified Mental Health First Aider, and I know there must be others in this community with mental health qualifications or training — whether you’re a therapist, psychologist, counsellor, MHFA, or someone experienced in signposting to the right resources.

This isn’t about providing free therapy or replacing any existing support someone may have.
It’s about offering a small bit of help: a listening ear, a safe space to vent, or pointing someone towards the right resources when they need it most.

If you’re willing to help, please comment with:
Your role/training (e.g., MHFA, therapist, counsellor, peer support)
How you’re able to support (e.g., signposting, short conversations, info on available sessions)

Important: If you choose to offer support, please make sure you have your own measures in place for your own wellbeing. Supporting others can be emotionally taxing — you can’t pour from an empty cup.

I’ll also be posting once a week with simple mental health tips, wellbeing reminders, and helpful resources. (UK based)
